International Certification Centre was founded under the name Global Institute of Finance and Management Studies.
The beginning of a professional learning movement.
ICC set out to provide practical training in Human Resource, Project Management, Accounting, Procurement and Supply Chain for individuals and organisations.

Initial classes began with 30 participants at Kinbu Senior High Technical School in Accra Central, with sessions held on Saturdays.

Of the first 30 individuals, 25 were already working professionals, while the remaining participants were recent graduates eager to grow.
